In New York State, Is It Illegal to Be High on Marijuana Indoors?

Question by : In New York State, is it illegal to be high on marijuana indoors?
Also, can a failed urine test send me to jail if it was positive for marijuana in Seneca County?
I am not on probation, or parol of any sort. This is because my brother’s baby’s mother is using in her defense for full custody that I have drug addictions.
I’m 17 years old.
Thank you for your help.
Yes, i live with my brother. I’m not getting a urine test, it’s just a circumstance, nor is it for an employer.
Why is it that i’ve heard my entire life that it’s legal to be high, just not to have marijuana or parifanalia?
