Anyone Familiar With Pennsylvania’s Law on Expunging a Felony Conviction ?
Question by bmp5529: Anyone familiar with Pennsylvania’s Law on Expunging a felony conviction ?
In 2006 I pled guilty to two charges in one court hearing. First was forgery and second was obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation. Basically, I forged a rx for 120# oxycodone pain pills and wrote the prescription out in my girlfriends name. The pharmacy filled the rx but called the Physician later to verify and obviously he said NO, I didn’t write that. Before court i received a recommendation from York county’s drug and alcohol counselor which recommended I not be incarcerated but instead complete a 30 day inpatient rehab. The judge agreed, gave me 3 years of probation, which transferred to Maryland because I was a MD resident just visiting PA. I have less than one month left on Probation. I have not violated probation nor been in any trouble since then. Is there any chance of getting this expunged eventually? Please reply if you know the laws of PA? thanks
