Question by : How does homelessness lead to prostitution?
Just curious as to why you think those people who are poor and homeless are led to prostitution. I no the main reason is to have a source of income and also to support drug addictions but i need to write a paragraph about it, just looking for some more ideas!

Money is much more than a means to get stuff in our (USA) culture. We put a great deal of our self-worth into how much money we have. When aren’t making the kind of money we would like to make it often makes us feel as though we are less and less valuable as people. Once that feeling starts to sink in, treating yourself as less (ie prostitution for example) can seem like a reasonable idea.

Oddly enough many rich peolpe say that having the money doesn’t actually make you happy either.
